The Science Behind Play
During playful experiences, children’s brains build millions of neural connections as they interact with people, objects, and their environment. Repeated playful experiences strengthen pathways responsible for:

3. Actively Engaging
- Children manipulate, build, move, experiment, and interact.
- Active participation strengthens neural pathways far more effectively than passive observation (Center on the Developing Child, 2011).
4. Iterative
